Nottinghamshire Community Foundation, a cornerstone of local philanthropy since 1997 has been renamed to Forever Notts in a determined push to grow local funding to support the essential work of our city and county’s grassroots charities.
Why Have We Changed?
This evolution is part of a project to improve what we do to put us in a stronger position for the decades to come.
For the community groups we work with every day, our fundholders, supporters, the local businesses and us here at Forever Notts, the past few years have brought about many challenges, and with those come opportunities to learn.
We can’t stand still, in today’s challenging economic environment things need to change.
The Need Is Growing
The number of people tumbling into poverty or unstable circumstances has massively increased, and with it the need for local services is higher than ever. Because of this, the pressure on our grant-making is increasing and we know we must raise more money to meet the need.
This Presents a Challenge and an Opportunity
Our name change is part of our long-term plan to help us grow; to make it easy for donors and supporters to find us, so we can get more funds and money out into the community as quickly as possible, where it is needed most.
Inspiring Philanthropy – supporting local causes that matter- making a difference today, tomorrow and forever.
